South offers automobile loans on an indirect basis through
an extensive automobile dealer network consisting of hundreds
of dealers throughout the southeastern United States. Primarily
made up of independent car dealers, the network does include
new car franchise dealers, from whom New South purchases retail
installment contracts. Floor plan revolving credit lines,
used for financing the inventory of automobile dealerships,
are also available to selected independent dealers.
